The Psychological Method of the Qur'an in Human Education: A Special Study of the Commandments of Islamic Worship

Abstract

Islam is a complete code of life. It guides every aspect of human life, where the Qur'an and Sunnah are the guiding principles with laws for the reformation and correctness of human beings. Allah has also given solutions to economic, social, political and psychological problems. Islam has explained the procedures for each and everything. Allah Ta'ala has sent down His instructions for the guidance of humans and Jinns among the living creatures in this world and has ordered them to follow the rules given by Him. For the human soul, Allah Ta'ala adopted a style of education and training through various means which were closer to human minds and established these resources from which no humans could not deviate. Allah Ta'ala has sent and revealed the Holy scriptures to human beings through His prophets and heavenly scriptures are used for the reformation of their soul. The Holy Quran is the last Book among all the heavenly scriptures which is considered as the code of life till the Day of Judgement.In this book, Allah has described all the virtues and habits of a human beings by making the human ‘self’ as a subject, which builds the human personality and character. In the same way, Allah Ta'ala has adopted all the methods in the Divine scripture for self-rectification which affects the hearts of human beings. In the Qur'an, Allah Ta'ala has explained the commandments and problems related to Tawheed and Prophethood, The Five Pillars of Islam, the Instructions regarding worship, affairs, society through the Qur'an and the Sunnah & psychological solutions have been presented to these problems. In this research paper, the psychological solution of human training & education has been clarified in the light of Quran and Sunnah.
