A Research Review of Common Teachings on the Need and Importance of Trees, in the Qur'an and Sunnah and the Old and New Testaments.

Abstract

The whole world is in grave danger of environmental pollution, Experts say that the most effective way to solve this problem is to plant trees. People all over the world are being encouraged to plant trees and huge sums of money are being spent on promoting its usefulness and importance. Furthermore it was find out that the majority of the world's population is Christian and Muslim. This population might be influenced by the teaching of Holy Books. For this purpose research is made to know the importance and need of plants in Holy Scriptures so that followers would incline towards plantation. For this purpose, verses will be gathered in the light of the basic book of Christianity, the Old and New Testaments (a collection of which is called the Holy Book), and the basic source of Islam, the Qur'an and Sunnah. Same teachings of both the religion will be highlighted to make it more impact full. If these teachings are put into practice, the world's efforts to protect it from environmental pollution will be strengthened.
