Abstract

Imam ābw Dāwd Ṭyālsy is one of the great hadith scholars of the first period. He was born in 133 Hijri in Fars. His name is Sulaiman bin Dawud. His ancestry is similar to Hazrat Zubair bin Al-Awam. From childhood, he traveled to distant cities for knowledge. He has a prominent position among the hadiths. His student Habib bin Yunus recorded the traditions narrated from him in the form of "Msnd ābw Dāwd Ṭyālsy". The Musnad of ābw Dāwd Ṭyālsy is one of the first Msnds. Even in this period of knowledge and research, Msnd Ṭyālsy is also on the top list among the books that have been ignored by the research of hadith. In order to follow the Qur'an, following the life of Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and looking for these footprints is indispensable for every believer. It was preserved in the chests and the scriptures. Special arrangements were made to preserve every moment of the 63 years of the holy life of exile, exile, travel and presence. This process was continued and forgotten in a good manner and thus the books of hadith were recorded in the order of chapters and books. And it was arranged that the biography of the Rasoolullah ﷺ reached us. ābw Dāwd Ṭyālsy often cites authentic hadiths in his Musnad. But sometimes he also cites hadiths from weak narrators. He arranges the hadiths in his Musnad by referring to the names of Companions of the Prophet. He died in 204 AH.
