The Position of Islamic jurisprudence about Plastic Surgery

Abstract

There are many Religious texts in Shariah perspective in which the adoption of beauty and adornment have been encouraged and some actions have been permitted for this purpose, but some actions have also been prohibited and the perpetrators of some actions have been cursed, if it has also been done it will be considered as one of the major sin. The debate in this article is closely related to the adoption of beauty. Because adornment depends on the external change and Modern man considers it necessary to decorate the appearance. Present study highlights the rulings of Islamic jurisprudence regarding plastic surgery. This is an analytical based on secondary sources: books articles and online sources. The study suggests that following acts are forbidden because they have change of creation and makes it necessary not to agree with Allah Ta'ala's division of beauty. It falls under the category of hadiths in which it is forbidden to rub the body, to scratch the eyebrows, to break one's teeth, to make one's hair longer by braiding. This change will be predicated on them. There is an aspect of deception and deception in it and it necessitates reformation. This process is not without many risks. It has been mentioned in some hadiths that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) forbade peeling the body. In this process it is necessary to touch and see the private parts without any demand or need.
