An Analytical Study of Contemporary Urdu Literature on Court and Justice

Abstract

This article intends to throw light on contemporary Urdu literature i.e. books, articles, thesis and dissertations on Court and Justice.The importance of writing can never be denied and writing is the best source of knowledge about the situations and events of the past. Only through writing, literature is preserved and reaches the future generations, if the written literature is not preserved and does not reach the future generations, then the coming generations will not even know about the achievements of the predecessors. Therefore, the importance of writing has always been recognized in developed and educated nations and priority has always been given to written work. The reliable means of knowing the problems and requirements of the present era is written works of renown scholars and research work of researchers. In the article under review, an analytical study of the available materials published in Urdu language related to court and judiciary has been done. In this context, documentary and non-documentary theses, books and articles written in Urdu language have been reviewed and a brief view has been given on their styles and characteristics. An overview of the contents of the articles and books is presented. In this regard, results and recommendations have been derived with the help of analytical research.
